NaNoWriMo, here we go!

It's true! I signed up for NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, here at the eleventh hour.... why? Because I realized that I am at around the 31,000-word mark for DROWNING SUMMER and so I need another 50,000 words anyway!
So why NOT?

So I will now have a target dogging me around all day, plus all of the new friends I've already made in the Facebook NaNoWriMo group I'm in, PLUS if you finish the challenge YOU GET STUFF, and who doesn't like STUFF??? I like STUFF!

I have just a little over two hours before my challenge begins... starting to get a little excited....

Hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween out there. It stopped raining here for a good 30 minutes so my baby bats could scoop up some of the good stuff in the Fancy Neighborhood. Good times!!
