SIX DATES is cooking right along...

The YA romance I started last Saturday night is at 15,638 words. It is just pouring out of me, which is an amazing feeling. I am really loving my characters, and I can't wait to get to the next section, but tonight I realized it would probably work better in first person.

So on that note, I may let it cook for day (because I cannot write tomorrow at all) and then see how it looks on Sunday. I will do the first few pages as an experiment, so that should be fun.

My new thing is I am now homeschooling my three children, ages 8, 7, and almost-6. But I still wrote over 15,000 words this week. *pats myself on the back*

So Stella Cameron was right. I sat next to her at dinner once, a gazillion years ago in Seaside, Oregon, and I asked her how a mom with young kids can get any writing done. She said, "You just do it. I had young kids and I did it. You will find the time."

Happy reading, writing and all that jazz.
