More fan art

My most excellent friend and artist Johnny Spendor sent his illustrations of Ravenna and Denim from KEEPERS OF THE EMERALD CAVE, and I was so excited, I worked on coloring this version of Ravenna when I should have been revising. But how awesome is she?!?!?!

The staircase in the photo are real stairs in Astoria that figure into a future chase scene, most likely book 2 or 3...not quite sure yet.

Johnny's version of Denim is awesome, too, but I can't color another picture tonight...I am beat and so is the kitchen. I definitely have some chores to do before bed!! But tomorrow is Monday and the kids will be in school (no more snow days, no more holidays!), which means I will be in my author's chair. *yeah*

My friend and one of my best critique partners, Denise M. Swank, sent back EMERALD CAVE after a beta read this weekend, so I will be ready to dive into her thoughts as I revise this puppy.

So Monday, bring it on!
