Working on plotting tonight... the main plot of
The Keeper of the Emerald Cave is pretty much hammered out. The motivation of our good guys and their aides is all sewn up... but I am working on the motivations of our bad guys -- are they just after taking down the good guys? Or are they after the whole dog-and-pony show? Is there a personal score to settle here? Is that enough to carry the whole story? How does the external conflict factor in to the main arc of the book?
Hard to talk about without revealing too much, but that is what's going on with me.
I am currently at 8,422 words, though, including the plotting since so much of that will go into the finished work, and I like to report the word count for one reason -- yesterday it was lower. LOL
