Six set of eyes were so busy looking at the strange metal stuck in the wall, no one noticed the emerald green bubbles floating through the air toward the rock. Denim looked down at his wet hands then looked up in time to see the tiny bubbles blip against the rock surrounding the crack. Handfuls of rock and gravel fell away where the bubbles landed until a metal pipe was revealed.
“Now how did I do that?” Looking at his hands, he became entranced with the swirling green liquid mixed with lines of gold. The gold glittered in the low light from everyone’s flashlights, but when Calliope trained her flashlight directly onto Denim’s palms, he saw the green bubble solution was smooth and clear, thick like syrup. Like melted emeralds.
Peace and happy reading/writing/singing/laughing.
